End of a “ruff” year.
3 months after loosing our Tripawd, Oreo and 6 months after losing her sister/litter mate/best friend, Cookie we are still struggling with the pain of loss this year. But I am so grateful for the time I had with these sweet dogs, and for the comfort I received from this community! I love reading the posts of dogs that continue to do well, and my heart grieves with those of you who are mourning your ‘angel’ dogs. Strength is drawn from all. My ‘best husband in the whole world’ and I wish you all happiness in the coming year!

It’s very nice to hear from you. This as been one tough year for you and “the best husband in the whole world”.
But here yo are, still trying to glue your heart back together again, sending out warm and kind wishes to others. Your generosity of spirit isyet another reason why The Oreo and Cookie selected you as their human teachers.
They already knew what it felt like to give love, and they knew you would teach them what it felt like to be loved:-) 🙂
The frace with which you handled this journey..the way you celebrated the gift of time…the gift of the present…the way you let NOTHING rob you of our earth time together…the way you let Oreo be The Oreo even as he was packing his bags to go see Cookie…..all I can say is thank you for showing us what “grace” looks like, feels like and acts like.
PLEASE continue to share memories AND those wonderful photographs of “MISS PHOTOGENIC Oreo”, and her equally photogenic sister Cookie!
Know that Oreo, and Cookie will NEVER, EVER be forgotten here! About a week ago, under “Shout Outs” I posted a little “picture tribute” to all tripawds and quadpawds who have crossed over.Along with so many others, I held The Oreo and Cookie silently in my heart as I did so.
Look forward to more pictures and shared memories. These two had the best time here with you!! I kow they’re still grinning ear to ear and wagging non-stop just thiking about the fun and love!
From my heart,
Sally and Happh Hannah
Its good to hear from you. I am glad its the end of this year. I know you wish Oreo & Cookie were here to celebrate with you. Please continue to share all your wonderful memories.
I was thinking of Oreo the other day, don’t know why but was hoping you were okay. It must be really hard losing 2 dogs so close together. Are you dog less? Hope not. How would you camp without those fuzz butts. Take care.

Oh my gosh it’s so sweet of you to come back here and send good wishes to the community, thank you from the bottom of our heart for sharing the love and those touching photos.
We hope you and your pack have a beautiful 2014.
You are always welcome here. Once a Tripawds member, always a Tripawds member. Let us know how you’re doing OK?
