Farewell to The Oreo

Comments(8) Tiff can’t speak. Too painful. Brave little dog. Will miss her so much! Hole in our hearts. Woke up after ‘sleeping’ by her side last night. She could not walk….
Oreo: Spent the day, having a walk in the stroller, a short wade in the pond, being petted and mushed over, some delicious salmon (no I didn’t roll in it), and treats til I couldn’t eat any more! Then I left to go play with Cookie! How I have missed her! I’ll miss you jared and tiff, thanks for a good life!

I am so sorry. We have so enjoyed Oreo’s adventures. She had a fun life and salmon to boot.

Oh no. I just saw your blog from a couple of days ago and now this. So very, very sorry.
You and Oreo did a heroic job of making sure nothing robbed you of your time together. Nothing kept you from living n the moment and building so many happy memories these last several months. You made sure each day was immersed in loving Oreo and giving massive amounts of spoiling and fun!
These pictures you have shared with us throughout her journey will remind you of how happy Oreo is. The ones from your camping trip are so beautiful.
You two did everything possible to immerse Oreo in love her entire life. She will always have your love with her and you will have her love with you. She’s tucked safely in your heart and will never leave you.
I think Oreo is just about THE most photogenic dog ever!, She didn’t seem to shy away from the camera at all.
And being pushed around in her stroller like the Prncess she is!! OMD! That dog thoroughy enjoyed her life! I’m so sorry it was cut way too short. But she got some pain free quality time because of your commitment and dedication to her. You did EVERYTHING possible for her! EVERYTHING!
She lived fuly right up until her time to crossover. And I absolutely believe Cookie is there waiting for her. And I mean tnat. I think onereason her transition went so well is because Oreo knew the other side of this life was also joyous. She also knows her energy will stay here with you and she will ALWAYS be by your side.
And Oreo, not only can you bark at all the hot air balloons you want, but you can pop ’em too!

Just know how much we love that Oreo and would have done anything to have a different outcome. But Oreo did make it to herTHIRD AMPUVERSARY! Good job Oreo! Good job!

The Bridge just becamse more beautiful with Oreo’s arrival! She was so loved… we can tell this from your words and pictures. We do love them so.. and it hurts. It hurts like &*($^ to write these posts,, as well as read them.
I have been in that place where you are, as many of us here have been, and some of us, very recently. We understand. I can’t help but get teary as I feel your pain…

Oh you guys, my heart aches for you, what a terrible shock. Oreo was so spunky and adorable, I can’t believe it either. When you feel like telling us about it, if you ever do, it may help to vent.
You have a strong pack there, and even though she is an angel now, that bond can never be broken. The lessons she taught you, the life that you shared with all of us, well that’s something that never, ever disappears.
